AI Visibility

When customers ask an AI, what does it actually understand about your brand?

J2A observes and improves how your brand is found, interpreted, cited, described and potentially recommended across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI experiences.

CitationMentionAccuracyRecommendation

Visible does not mean one thing

A citation, a mention and a recommendation do not tell the same story.

AI Visibility describes the result being observed: where does a brand appear, in what form and with what degree of accuracy? Before counting anything, we define precisely what we are looking for.

The advice is reused

The content is used, but the brand remains invisible.

The page is cited

The source appears without the brand necessarily being named.

The brand is mentioned

It appears, but the description may be accurate, incomplete or wrong.

The offer is recommended

It is selected and its relevance to the request is explained.

Useful words with fuzzy boundaries

AEO, GEO, LLMO: four angles on the same change.

These terms frequently overlap. They are not four perfectly separate professions or four mandatory links in a universal chain.

AEOMaking information easier to reuse in a direct answer.
GEOStudying how content can find a place in an AI-composed answer.
LLMOWorking on how language models understand and represent a brand, its offers and evidence.
AI VisibilityObserving where the brand appears, how it is presented and with what fidelity.

The J2A framework

Four dimensions for conclusions you can defend.

One strange response obtained on a Tuesday morning is not suddenly “what the market thinks” about a brand. It shows what one system produced under those conditions. Our approach documents those conditions and repeats observations.

01

Surface

The AI, feature, Web access, language, territory and situation selected for observation.

02

Presence

Used source, citation, mention, recommendation or faithful description: what we decide “visible” means.

03

Levers

Information, content, evidence, inconsistencies and external sources the brand can actually influence.

04

Evidence

Questions, variants, repetitions and protocol used to separate an isolated result from a decision-worthy signal.

What a brand can influence

Not the final answer. The conditions that make it possible.

Any promise of total control would be unrealistic. A brand does not choose the sources selected or the final wording. It can, however, make its digital existence much clearer, more coherent and more credible.

Entity and offer clarity

  • Name, category, market, products, availability and differentiation
  • Consistent descriptions across the website, profiles and partners
  • Company, expert, service, product and market pages

Information access and structure

  • Technical access for relevant search systems and crawlers
  • Architecture, internal links and structured data where it has a real use
  • Precise, extractable, dated and maintained content

Credibility and public evidence

  • Reviews, testimonials, cases, identifiable expertise and verifiable information
  • Citations, press, distributors, partners and public-record consistency
  • Correction of outdated or contradictory information

Observation and measurement

  • A baseline using a documented prompt set
  • Date, system, version, language, territory and Web access recorded
  • Clear separation between established facts, observations and working hypotheses
  • Comparison over time without turning variability into a false ranking

Engagement flow

Observe → audit → correct → enrich → verify.

The work looks less like a secret recipe and more like careful maintenance: finding outdated information, harmonizing vocabulary, documenting evidence and checking what partners publish.

STEP 01

Baseline

Define surfaces, prompts and forms of presence to observe.

STEPS 02–04

Audit & correction

Website, data, content, local presence, external evidence and inconsistencies.

STEP 05

Verification

New observations, documented comparison and next recommendations.
